MATTHEW DALE YOUNGBLOOD

            Matt Youngblood is 11 years old and lives in Selmer, Tennessee.  Matt is in the 5^th grade at Selmer Middle School where he is involved in the Student Government Association. Matt was saved and received Christ in his life in 1999.  Matt attends Lakeview Baptist Church where he is involved in the banner ministry in all the musical programs there.  Matt began training in the martial arts in April 2001 under the instruction of Shihan Craig Hamm.  Matt enjoys taking classes from Shihan Hamm and feel it is an honor to have such a Godly and committed man to his ministry teaching him.  Matt holds the rank of 4^th Kyu Blue Belt in Shotokan Karate and 6^th Kup in Shinsei Hapkido.  Matt has started going to tournaments and is burning up the competition so far.  Matt won 1^st place in Kata, Weapons, and Synchronized Forms in November 2002 at the 2^nd Annual Battle of the Bayou in Mississippi.  Matt also just won 1^st place in Weapons and then Grand Champion in Youth Under Belt Weapons at the 2003 Rumble on the River Karate Tournament in Camden, Tenn. Matt prays that God Will get the Honor and Glory through his events and hopes that God will show through him so others will come to know God.  Matt enjoys playing Golf and other sports.
