After moving to America in Master Lau began entering Martial arts tournaments and winning against all male finalist bought Master Lau great notoriety, from there on she was asked to only demonstrate. Her fame at these tournaments attracted the attention of Hollywood and the film studios. Master Lau has starred in Martial arts movies such as Eric Lee's "Weapons of Death, "The Killer Elite and the Flacon Claw, she also appeared on NBC's world of martial arts.

Master Lau also has 4 other brothers and sisters, all but one are involved in passing on the knowledge of their father

Master James Lau ( Master Gini Lau's younger brother) At the age of 4 years Master James Lau started learning the Eagle Claw system under his father the late Great Grand Master Lau Fat Mang, at age 6 he entered and won major martial arts competitions gaining grand championship status. Following the untimely death of his father Master James Lau continued his Eagle Claw studies under Grand Master Lau Fat Mang's top student Lo Yuen Gun, he also studied under one of his fathers close friends Master Ju Jhuk Kai a famous praying mantis master. At the age of 18 years Master James Lau was running his own Kwoon (Kung Fu school) in Hong Kong. Master James Lau has a long and prestigious career within the martial arts movie world having taught the fight direction for the Jackie Chan film "Snake in Eagle Shadow". He also has stared and directed many martial art films.

Master Francis Lau (Master Gini Lau's older brother) is known for his amazing Lion Dance skills. Known as the Lion King he is able to perform many complicated and long Lion dance routines without a break. This in itself may not sound very much to the novice, but having seen Master Francis Lau perform his Lion Dance routine one is amazed at his athletic ability and outstanding stamina. Truly worthy of the title "The Lion King".

Grandmaster Gini Lau heads up a number branches within the Lau Fat Mang World Eagle Claw Kung Fu association, Schools can be found, in Sacramento Texas in the USA as yet Europe only has one school this is run by one of Master Lau's senior disciples SiFu Julian Dale. Grandmaster Lau will be travelling to the UK next year to give a number of seminars on eagle claw kung fu.
